This holiday season, My Annapolis Office is proud to partner with Toys for Tots to help spread joy and bring the magic of Christmas to economically disadvantaged children in the community. By joining forces with the Toys for Tots Annapolis campaign, we support the U.S. Marine Corps’ mission to collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys to kids who might otherwise go without. Every toy donation brings joy to a child’s holiday and delivers a powerful message of hope.
About Toys for Tots Charity
Founded by the U.S. Marine Corps in 1947, Toys for Tots has become a beloved national effort. Initially launched by Marine Corps Reserve Major Bill Hendricks in Los Angeles, this initiative rapidly expanded and officially became a nonprofit foundation by 1991. The Toys for Tots charity now supports nearly 800 local campaigns across the country, including Toys for Tots Anne Arundel County, delivering millions of gifts annually to children in need.
In 2023 alone, the program distributed over 25.5 million toys—an effort made possible thanks to generous individuals, businesses, and volunteers who believe in the power of giving. Toy Donation Drop-Off Information
MAO encourages clients, guests, and locals to contribute by bringing new, unwrapped toys—valued around $10 or more—to our front desk toy donation drop-off location. Please avoid donating items that resemble weapons or contain food, candy, or chemicals. These guidelines ensure every gift is safe and child-appropriate.
Prefer to give cash instead of a physical gift? The program gladly accepts monetary donations, which help fill shortages in toy supplies and guarantee each child receives a thoughtful, meaningful present.
How to Contribute to Toys for Tots in Annapolis
To contribute, simply bring your donation to the front desk of My Annapolis Office. We’ll be collecting items until December 7th, with all contributions being picked up by Toys for Tots on December 8th for distribution in time for the holidays.
